Deaunta Winford, a 27 year old Jackson, MS, native and graduate of Callaway High School is the senior adviser to the Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Nu Fraternity Incorporated. He is currently enrolled in Jackson State University's Legal Studies Program and once he has acquired the appropriate credentials he will then transfer to Mississippi College's School of Law. A former member of Lamda Pi Nu Fraternity Incorporated, he chose to follow his soon to be founders on a quest to create an organization better suiting of themselves. On January 21st, 2014, this dream became a reality. Under the dynamic leadership of his former fraternity brothers turned founders he then became the FIRST official president of Alpha Kappa Nu Fraternity INC. Under his presidency "The 4 A.W.A.K.E.N.I.N.G.S." were born into Alpha Kappa Nu and the organization began. Since then he has crossed several lines and played an integral role in the processes of others. He has shown himself to be  well of knowledge and a helping hand to all who enter the organization. His firm demeanor and exquisite mastery of Robert's Rules Of Order have laid the ground work for the amazing Alpha Chapter.  .
